Hey there,
I'm Alex, I am an internationally recognised mindset and productivity coach, passionate about empowering individuals to unlock their full potential. Originally from South Devon, UK, I am a psychology graduate, and my personal journey of transformation drives my commitment to helping others. You can read more about my story below.
My Story
Being productive was something I struggled with since my school days. I found it hard to stay focused on anything that wasn’t sports-related, and this pattern continued through university.
During my second year of university, my life took a turn. I was diagnosed with a lifelong chronic pain condition that could only be managed, never cured. At that point, I had no choice but to work on myself, truly for the first time in my life.
Empowering my mindset allowed me to recover physically and mentally, so I could manage my condition. Against the odds, I completed my degree. With a newfound interest in mindset, I went on to study for a master’s in psychology and worked in mental health for over four years.

Life seemed pretty good, and I eventually decided that, after everything I had been through, I would start an online coaching business to help people all over the world. I had so many exciting goals and plans, yet things weren’t going as planned…
I invested in business courses, but despite everything I was learning and the goals I had, I wasn’t being productive. I knew what I needed to do, but actually doing it was the real challenge. It reminded me of earlier days in my life. I would think to myself, "How, after everything I’ve overcome, am I struggling to make progress or get this off the ground?"
I followed a lot of general advice on the internet, but none of it really stuck enough to make an impact. I didn’t want to admit it, but I was overwhelmed. I was constantly procrastinating, beating myself up for being lazy, and I started to overthink every small detail. This led to even more procrastination and, eventually, burnout. It was frustrating. I even started to believe that maybe this wasn’t for me. But then, the breakthrough came…

The turning point...
I decided that if I was ever going to change this, I needed to level up again. I needed to go back and do the very thing that got me to this point: work on my mindset.
I fully embraced the self-development journey. I hired my own coach, read books, listened to different podcasts, and spent a lot of time reflecting. I knew deep down that something was holding me back… Then, with all the work I was putting in, it hit me.
I became aware of what was really going on… In truth, it was a number of things. For starters, I was a massive perfectionist, which stemmed from my very high standards. I used to believe that it would be hard for me to amount to anything, and that belief made me a perfectionist. I always felt like anything less than perfect would never be good enough. I also believed that I wasn’t a productive person, as if it were a character trait. I knew that had to change.

I also learned that I had been conditioned to a certain way of life. Part of the reason I struggled to be productive in the online business world was because it conflicted with many of my former goals and beliefs, which led to imposter syndrome and self-doubt. All of my friends were in traditional employment and on different paths, which made me question a lot. From this, I realized that comparing my current journey to others or my past was damaging. The focus needed to be on who I am and what I want in the present.
To be honest, there were many things holding me back, and I was now aware of them. But this was the time to break through those limits and fulfil my potential. I continued my self-development journey to improve myself, better understand productivity, and beat procrastination.

As a result of the process and taking the time to face this obstacle, my situation improved. I now understood that productivity was not a one size fits all solution for everyone, as well as what specifically worked for me. I was able to unlock my full potential and start achieving my goals with my online business.

This led to a much happier life. I now knew that my lack of productivity before wasn’t about laziness or an inability to stay focused. While managing my time was a useful step, it was never the first or most significant change I needed to make. It was about managing my emotions, understanding my fears, aligning with my goals, and boosting my self-belief.

I learned that the internal work made up roughly 95% of productivity, and doing it has been the biggest game-changer in my life and business so far. I could see my progress more and more. I was ticking things off my to-do list each day, while my business and income started to grow. Most importantly, my mindset continued to grow too.
It wasn’t until I was on the other side of the coin, after I had boosted my own productivity, that I could see just how prevalent this challenge is in society, particularly in the world of online business. I realized that I wasn’t the only one. I thought to myself that something needed to change. I didn’t want people to go through the hardships I went through. With my passion and experience, I decided to tailor my coaching niche to mindset and productivity so that I could help people who were stuck where I used to be, at the start of the journey I had been on, and who were striving for the life of freedom that online entrepreneurship can provide.
I went from being unproductive and doubtful of what I could achieve to becoming a fully accredited mindset coach, speaker, and author. I now help online entrepreneurs all over the world unlock their full potential and boost productivity. My goal is to help as many people as I can to do the same.
